In a resolute display of commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a group of determined students embarked on a vital initiative to address the pressing issue of "life below the water" at Chiang Mai's Mae Kha Canal. This once-vibrant waterway has suffered from prolonged neglect, resulting in a distressing accumulation of waste. The students' journey was met with challenges as their boat navigated through waters cluttered with discarded clothing, a stark testament to the disregard for our natural spaces.

Surrounded by local residences that have grown accustomed to this unfortunate reality, the students witnessed firsthand the normalization of such environmental degradation. Despite warnings about the severe pollution levels, these young environmentalists donned their gloves and set out in boats, determined to make a difference. Their day was spent laboriously extracting trash from the canal, an effort to restore its health and beauty.
